Anissa McBreen has been providing consulting services and educational seminars to Long Term Care organizations for over 26 years. Under her leadership, HIM departments have developed and maintained compliance with Medical Records. She also provided consultation services on HIPAA and has developed policies and procedures for efficient department success. She is a RHIT and is working towards her RHIA. She is a regular speaker at OHIMA and is active on the OHIMA board, as well as AHIMA. She has co-authored ICD-10-CM coding in Long Term Care and LTC Documentation Guidelines. She is a highly driven professional and has a passion to educate those working in long term care on how to be a successful HIM Manager.

Ohio Licensed Administrators: The Association is an approved provider of continuing education credit by the Ohio Board of Executives for Long Term Care Services and Supports (BELTSS). Administrators can earn 6 preferred hours of continuing education credit.

Ohio Nurses: Nurses please note any continuing education that has been approved by BELTSS (or any other accredited body) can be accepted by the Ohio Board of Nursing in the State of Ohio. Nurses may use this continuing education to meet their licensure requirements. Please refer to OBN continuing education rules 4723-14-01 thru 4723-14-19.
