This webinar will explore tools employers can use for medical provider collaboration that will help ensure that treatment for your injured employee leads to recovery and return to work as soon and as safely as possible.

Objectives:
1. Understand the importance of the Provider in the workers? compensation claims process.
2. Understand the roles of the Managed Care Organization (MCO) in successful return to work.
3. Begin using transitional work as a return to work tool if you are not already doing so.
4. Be able to describe the benefits of transitional work.
5. Learn other tools, such as Vocational Rehabilitation and Remain at Work Services, which help resolve challenging claims.

Speaker: Amy Frey, Client Services Representative CompManagement Health Systems (CHS)

Amy has over 25 years experience handling a variety of workers? compensation matters. She has worked for the CompManagement companies since 1997 as an account manager, hearing representative and now in client services representing both private and public employers. In her current position she medically manages and strategizes on swift claim resolutions and provides training and webinars on workers? compensation procedures and transitional work policies. Prior to working with CompManagement, she managed a small MCO, served as a workers? compensation Manager for a large Orthopedic Group. In addition, she worked for a large manufacturing company as a Workers? Compensation and Health & Safety Coordinator. Her current and prior positions provide her with a unique and well-rounded background in analyzing workers? compensation issues from the perspective of medical providers, third party administrator, managed care organization and employers.
This program is approved for one (1) hour of credit for nursing home administrators, nurses, CEAL and CEHCH.

Individual attendance will be monitored throughout the call. Only those attending the entire call will be awarded continuing education credit. All participants regardless of need for CEUs, will receive a certificate of attendance. This course is considered a self-study course by Ohio BELTSS. Administrators are reminded that BELTSS limits webinars (home/self-study) credits to a total of ten (10.0) per renewal period.


How much does it cost?

Facilities will pay one low fee for an unlimited number of participants. However, the number and access code is valid only for one phone line/computer at the location registered with the Association. Any additional phone connections calling in will be billed the individual session registration fee.

Registration Fees:
Members: $55 (prior to 9/11/19) $75 (9/11/19 and after)
Non-Members: $130 (prior to 9/11/19 $175 (9/11/19 and after)
