2:45 pm Tips for Success in Dealing with Ohio's Growing Medicaid Managed Care Program

As the next generation of Medicaid Managed Care is set to begin later this year, SNFs continue to face a myriad of challenges in working with a number of the current payers. With three new plans entering the market, providers need to be more vigilant than even in knowing the rules and efficiently working the processes for authorizations, concurrent reviews and disenrollments particularly if the beneficiary has barriers to discharge. This session will discuss plan requirements related to coverage and disenrollment while providing helpful tips for SNFs to better manage this population as they work to ensure continued coverage and payment. A key session for anyone who has questions about the process or has experienced issues with Ohio's Medicaid Managed Care program.
