Heidi McCoy is a Registered, Licensed Dietitian. Prior to joining OHCA as the Clinical Director, Heidi had been with Dietary Solutions for over 20 years. She earned her BS in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University. Heidi's passion is to build lasting relationships with both current and potential clients. Heidi is also a CEHCH (Certified Executive for Home Care & Hospice).
A Certified Executive for Home Care and Hospice (CEHCH), Mrs. McCoy is also an experienced Revenue Cycle Director with Post-Acute care providers, which include Home Health, Hospice and Skilled Nursing Facility services. During her time in that role, she re-engineered the intake and billing set up processes to maximize recovery of reimbursable services through contractual payor set up corrections, cash flow process optimization, complete recalibration of a centralized intake and documentation process, standardization of authorization requests, electronic claims payment and submission automation, and interdisciplinary problem resolution. She also fulfilled key financial reporting roles including the monthly generation and calculation of the Allowance for Doubtful Accounts, as well as developed other key performance indicators for financial success of the Organization. Her current role requires her to maintain knowledgeable of current Conditions of Participation, Billing guidelines, and upcoming regulatory and payment changes.
