Assisted Living (RCF) Rules & Survey Preparedness February 25, 2025
6 CEs for CEAL, Nurses, NHA
Assisted Living communities (Residential Care Facilities?RCF) in Ohio face the unique challenge of balancing requirements for a successful survey while maintaining a resident-centered social model.
The Department of Health filed its final changes to the residential care facility (RCF) licensure rules. This action completes a five-year rule review process that began in early 2023. The rule changes are effective as of Friday, July 12, 2024.
During this comprehensive day-long program, we will equip you with the knowledge and tools to navigate the RCF rules, including the new rule changes, and to proactively avoid citations. This will not only prepare you for success but also boost your confidence in handling future challenges.
You will receive a complimentary copy of OHCA's RCF Survey Manual, the new RCF Rules, and tips & tools on creating your community-specific survey preparedness binder.
Have your executive team join us for an interactive session on RCF Rules, survey preparation, thinking like a surveyor, and embracing the survey process!
