Bootcamp Schedule Check In & Coffee will be available each day beginning at 8:30 am. The program will begin at 9:00 am and conclude at 4:30 pm. (Lunch & breaks included)
All participants receive a certificate of completion.

Each part will include lecture, small group discussion, and interaction. Learn essential & relevant skills to improve your success in this role.

Leah Schneck, LSW, CDP, CDS Vice President of Social Services, Saber Healthcare Group
Leah Schneck is a seasoned social work professional with over 22 years of experience in the healthcare and long-term care fields. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Akron in 2000, Leah became a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) and began her career working with teenage mothers in a residential treatment setting, followed by positions supporting adults with mental health needs. In 2002, she found her true passion in geriatrics and long-term care when she joined Saber Healthcare Group, where she currently serves as the Vice President of Social Services.
Throughout her career, Leah has made a continuous commitment to expanding her knowledge and expertise. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP), a CARES Dementia Specialist, and a Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Trainer. Most recently, in 2022, she became a licensed instructor with the National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP). Her education and certifications are the foundation of her ability to train and mentor others in the field. Leah?s training approach is highly adaptable, allowing her to tailor her instruction to meet the diverse needs of learners, ensuring they are empowered to implement best practices in their daily work.
In addition to her professional role, Leah is passionate about giving back to the community. She serves on the volunteer committee for the annual Walk to End Alzheimer's in Cleveland, Ohio, and is the chairperson of the Saber Strong Foundation, a charitable initiative that provides financial assistance to Saber Healthcare team members in times of hardship.
Outside of work, Leah is a dedicated mother of four children, balancing the demands of sports, school events, and supporting her three adult children. Her family also includes a lovable 4-year-old Great Pyrenees, and she and her husband enjoy traveling, camping, and local weekend getaways.

CEAL (Certified Executive for Assisted Living) can earn 13 credits toward their renewal.
Credit is also available for Ohio NHAs and nurses.
