What is it that causes us stress? Why does it seem to cause pain to some more than others? We will discuss some underlying causes; we will look at ourselves and how our profile, values and psychological health have an impact on stress. We will explore ideas for reducing stress in our lives.

Your Learning Objectives:
1) Attendees will be able to identify stress triggers that come at us from so many directions.
2) Attendees will be able to describe how important they are, their profile, their values and their awareness to their own ability to handle stress.
3) They will be able to demonstrate specific stress handling methods that have worked for others. They will learn recommendations for stress reduction.

Ms. Fogelman works as a professional sales and management consultant across several industries. As the Assistant Vice President, Director of Sales Management for HCR ManorCare, a major healthcare company, she has gained experience in direct sales, sales management, designing and executing the implementation of a world class sales force. She has proven expertise in Fortune 500 corporate sales management, sales training, market research and strategy. Ms. Fogelman has helped two major health care companies understand what it takes to hire, train and retain world class salespeople in a highly charged changing health care environment.

Ms. Fogelman has managed a sales force of over 500, implemented a market analysis research department, developed and implemented a CRM system for the largest long-term health care company in the industry. Under her direction, the department designed, developed and launched a sales training program for three divisions reaching over 2000 salespeople. In addition to management and oversight of the sales staff, her projects include implementation of competitive analysis, market feasibility, new hiring techniques, corporate leadership programs, new hire packages, sales and product training materials and product sales training programs.

After a successful career in Real Estate sales, Ms. Fogelman chose to balance her career and life with four children by driving the fund-raising activities for the American Lung Association eventually leading a two-county area as the Executive Director. Managing a volunteer staff, conducting fund raising events and providing community service and education programs led her to a career in health care sales which lasted for the next twenty-five years.

During her tenure in health care, she has experienced several buyouts, acquisitions and mergers. She has worked for a small company and two of the largest and most successful companies in the industry. She has seen down-sizing, hiring freezes and stocks prices that hit their lowest and their highest numbers and all of the turmoil and chaos that accompanies that level of change.

In her current role, she leads a team of nine professionals at Ledgerock Consulting a healthcare sales and marketing consulting company. Ledgerock was founded in 2010 by Ms. Fogelman with the goal of sharing her 30+ years of experience with the healthcare community. Her client list includes companies, both large and small in over thirteen states. She is a published author of The ABCs of Healthcare Sales. Her second book for Sales Managers will be out in the fall. Roni is a distinguished speaker for Indiana Healthcare Association, Pennsylvania Healthcare Association, Pennsylvania Coalition of Affiliated Healthcare & Living Communities and Leading Age.
